Bailey's Best Day EVER!

Today Bailey got an experience of a lifetime! She got to go out to a couple different horse farms with a friend of ours who is an Equine Specialist.

This is a mare that is ready to deliver a foal just any day.

Bailey is thinking about doing something in this field of study and it was a great experience for her.

This is the pregnant mare, waiting to be checked! Yes, I said checked.

Guess who checked her! Yep, Bailey got to feel the baby! She loved it!
When she got home she was so excited, exhausted but excited!

She even made a little money too.. :o)

  1. Dear Tonya, thank you so much for coming over and signing up. Also for putting me on your blog. I love your blog. When I saw your precious daughter with a picture of a horse it made me think of my daughter. We have 5 horses and we also homeschool. Our children range from 15 18, 31, 34 and 37. Yes and they are all ours. I lost two babies in between the 18 year old and 31. We live on a farm with 80 acres. I looked to see where you lived. We live in Kansas. Not like neighbors. Our youngest Taylor just loves horses. She would share with Bailey if you were closer. smile

I will be one of your followers, after I get off and lets stay in touch. I loved your music also. Fernando is my absolute favorite. I can tell we are kindred spirits.

I love how homeschoolers work with their families! Tell your children their pictures spoke volumes.

    Blessings, Linda

  2. Thank you for your kind words. My children are such a blessing and we are so pleased with all of them. They do help us alot.
Oh how wonderful 80 acres sounds. We only have 13 and that is more than most, which I am grateful for.
I agree, we could be kindred spirits. I have enjoyed your pictures as well. You are so gifted in your craftiness.
Thanks for following my blog. I am going to try and post pictures if we get to see the new foal when it is born. There may be twins, not sure yet.
    Thanks again for commenting,
    Tonya
